Programme
Monday 16 June
This year, instead of Osaka we will stay at Okura Kobe, approx. 30 minutes by bus from the World Expo Osaka, where we will spend the day on Monday. At the expo, we will be welcomed by Consul General Marc Kuipers and will organize a joint lunch at the Dutch Pavilion. More details about the Expo visit will be shared at a later stage.
Tuesday 17 June
On Tuesday we have a company visit planned to Kobelco Cranes in Kobe. After that we will take the famous Rokko Arima Ropeway up to have lunch with spectacular views of Mt. Rokko and Kobe. This is right next to Shin Kobe station, where we will take the shinkansen to Tokyo after lunch.
Wednesday 18 June
Wednesday morning we will visit the Nippon Express ALFA location for a tour and presentation. Later that afternoon, an interactive roundtable will be organized at Deloitte Tokyo together with NFIA, on the topic ‘EU Data act and how to comply: the role of cybersecurity cannot be underestimated’.
Thursday 19 June
Thursday morning we have a visit scheduled to the HQ of Nippon Sanso Holdings Corporation (Nippon Gases). Thursday afternoon is reserved for individual appointments, but like every year we will gather at the Dutch Ambassador’s Residence in the evening for the annual reception with the Dujat Advisory Board in Japan.
Friday 20 June
On Friday we will visit the brand new Nikon Innovation Center where they will give an update about the latest developments and a tour at their innovation center.
In the afternoon we will organize the Dujat Showcase in Tokyo with NFIA Japan. Last year’s first edition of this event was considered a success, but we could only welcome a limited number of guests due to the venue. We are therefore pleased that in 2025, the showcase will take place at the campus of GLOBIS Corporation. Besides offering their venue, they will also invite their relations to join this event alongside Dujat members and NFIA relations.
The trip will be concluded with a joint dinner at The Place of Tokyo next to the Tokyo Tower. This dinner is hosted by Dujat so no costs will be charged.
