On Monday 27 January, Dujat celebrated the start of 2020 with a kampai to the new year. We were happy to celebrate this occasion with many of our members. At this event it was also time to say goodbye to former chairman Geert Jan Mantel, who has stepped down as of the start of this year, to be succeeded by Luc Houben.
At the reception we were honored to welcome H.E. Mr. Horinouchi, Ambassador of Japan, and Mr. Tjapko Poppens, Mayor of Amstelveen as our guests of honor. We are grateful for the wonderful speeches they gave us, and to Mr. Hiroyuki Muromachi, Chairman of JCC for his words for the kampai.
Additionally, during this reception it was announced that 5 new members have joined our board. We are pleased to welcome:
Claartje Bouwers | Vice President – Mitsubishi Caterpillar Forklift Europe B.V. |
Jacco Leurs | Managing Director – Canon Benelux |
Hiroyuki Muromachi | President – Nomura Netherlands, Chairman of JCC |
Hideaki Takase | President – MUFG Bank Europe, Vice Chairman JCC |
Kyoko Tollenaar | Partner – Houthoff |
Thank you to all new board members for taking these positions. We look forward to working together with you! And to all of yesterday’s guests, we hope you had a lovely evening and would be very pleased to welcome you at our upcoming events, with first coming up: our workshop Cultural Intelligence at the International School of Amsterdam.
