| Last week on Thursday the 1st of July, Dujat in cooperation with City of Almere organized an event where members gathered in Almere for a visit to Yanmar Stadium and a preview at the terrain of Floriade Expo 2022. For many it was the first business event since the outbreak of COVID-19, a breath of fresh air after a long time of virtual meetings and webinars.
It was our honor to welcome H.E. Hidehisa Horinouchi, Ambassador of Japan and his spouse as our special guests at both these visits, and Mayor Franc Weerwind and Alderman Maaike Veeningen of the Economic Development department of the municipality of Almere (Gemeente Almere) for the Floriade preview. We thank Yanmar Stadium and Yanmar Europe, President Peter Aarsen for the interesting presentation and kind hospitality, as well as Floriade Expo 2022 CEO Hans Bakker and his staff for giving us a preview of what is becoming a beautiful Floriade Event next year.

You will be required to wear a face mask in our bus and various indoor locations, and it will all take place at a safe distance. | We are pleased to finally invite you to attend our long awaited visit to Almere on Thursday 1st of July. At this event, H.E. Horinouchi, Ambassador of Japan to the Netherlands and his spouse will attend as our guests of honor.
It is the first time we will be able to organize a visit and tour like this again after the outbreak of the coronavirus. Due to the restrictions we can only welcome a limited group, so please make sure to reserve your spot as soon as possible. In Almere, first we will start with a visit to Yanmar Stadium, which is the home of Almere City FC. At the stadium we will be welcomed by Peter Aarsen, President Yanmar Europe B.V. He will give us an update about activities and developments at Yanmar, followed by a tour at the stadium. We will then go to the terrain of International Horticultural Exhibition Floriade Expo 2022, where we will be welcomed by Franc Weerwind, Mayor of Almere, and Hans Bakker, CEO Floriade Expo 2022. At the Floriade terrain there will be a 3-part tour in smaller groups where you can see the area from the scale-model railway and also take a look at a preview of the exhibition. The event will be concluded with a networking reception. It is possible to join our bus from Amstelveen for transport, or go by own car (free parking available). |
