Dear members of Dujat,“No guarantees can be given, but everything indicates that we are on our way to a beautiful summer.” These were the words of Prime Minister Rutte during the corona press conference last week. Though nothing is certain, we are really hopeful that from this summer, it may be possible for us to meet offline again. There will still be safety measures to take into account, and we will probably only be able to welcome limited groups at outdoor events, but we are happy to start planning ahead so we can soon welcome you again at our networking events. It is therefore we are pleased to announce that we are planning an event with KNLTB (Koninklijke Nederlandse Lawn Tennis Bond) where Dujat members are welcome to witness one of the Amstelveen Open 2021 tennis games while meeting and catching up with other members. |

| For a smooth and safe organization of this event we would like to get an indication of who will be interested in attending. If you are interested, please send an e-mail to vangastel@dujat.nl and let us know. Official invitations will be sent at a later time once we finalize the programme and when more is clear about what will and will not be possible.
Of course please understand that we can only proceed with the organization of this event if the situation and corona measures allow it. If the government’s opening plan will be delayed due to rise in infections, we will cancel the event.
After talking to some members, we understood tennis is a popular sport in Japan. The tournament we will be able to attend is the 2021 ITF Women’s World Tennis Tour which is the 2021 edition of the second-tier tour for women’s professional tennis. It is organised by the International Tennis Federation and is a tier below the WTA Tour.
If possible, we will arrange that one of the Japanese tennis players will join us on the terrace. More details about the event and programme will be shared in the official invitation.
